Angelo Akde, an electrical contractor, purchased a 3,642-square-foot retail building on .25 acres at 674 Glen Cove Ave. in Glen Head for $1.05 million. The property was formerly occupied by a rug retailer but it’s been vacant for four years. Akde will be occupying the back half of the building and is seeking to lease the front half to a retail user. The building is 75 percent occupied with a mix of traditional office and medical office tenants, including the Prince Center for the Visually Impaired.
